Russian President Vladimir Putin says that he wants to make a bufferzone in Ukraine that will prevent Kyiv from using foreign-made weapons to attack Russia. This comes as Russian troops advance and capture more territory in Eastern Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Pentagon chief has said that Ukraine’s survival is at risk if weapons and aid are halted.
